Weekly Links

In the tradition of having at least 2 lists per set of links (I just can't stay away from those things) you'll find a lot of the same movies on 'The Best Movie Endings Ever' and 'You Got Swerved: 22 Movies with Twist Endings,' but they're both fun. Sarah, the 'Dr Who' Finale Guide is all for you, even though I know you're much more than a causal fan. There were several articles about race on television and film this week and I've included links to NPR's 'Has Television Lost it's Color' and EW's 'Why is TV so White?" (I also really wanted to include a smaller EW article criticizing the Hollywood trend of consistently pairing the few black superstar actors with non-black love interests. It's very interesting and I'll post it when I can find it online.) Also, for movie fans who obsess over random details like strange character names, wardrobe details, or best death scenes, the great Scanners blog discusses the evolution of blood representation in film.

Also, for those of you interested in more of Entertainment Weekly's "New Classics" issue, here's a link to the board with all the list and photo gallery links for the TV, Music and Book sections of the issue.
